The only black car I truly love right there... Congrats man, 95% of people who set out to build cars like this never finish it, one day I hope mine can be that nice.
When Scott wasn't around don't tell no oneYou sexxed it... Didn't you...![]()
3rd for that class? I hope the FBI is already looking into this crime. Some people tried to sex it, but Jeff contained himself.
It was great meeting you Jeff, and hanging out with you and Nick for a little while. Congrats on getting a spot in the Vortech booth!
I placed 3rd for the 79-93 class. I'll take it for my first show! There were 3500 cars there. Not a ton of foxes though. 80% of them were 05+. Some very cool cars there today. It was a good time.
My buddies and I were talking we think the fix is in . Unless you have a car that is as clean as Scott's where the just can't pass it up its like a who has the most tacky American muscle3rd for that class? I hope the FBI is already looking into this crime.
wins I placed 3rd for the 79-93 class.

I do know the winner was an 84 GT. If the judges were 4 eyed guys, I already lost.
One thing I do need is a little board that lists all my mods. People really didn't know what was into the car until they asked me, although I had the photo album laying in the open hatch. If I wasn't around and people didn't venture to the back of the car, they had no idea.

*Gasp*
I just had an amazing idea but have not looked into or asked anybody anything yet (just occurred to me when you talked about the board).
My daughter is quite the artist. She has been since she was tiny (she's now a rotten teen). She has discovered over just the last week, the digital drawing tablet and imaging software. Let me show her your some of your pics and whatever background you like and see what she can come up with.
Once your list is together, copy/paste, take it to Kinkos, have a monster size printed out. Never seen her try a car before that I can recall.![]()
Maybe your car is too much of a "race car" with the roll cage, recaro seats, and rear seat delete to be a typical show car? I'm not sure how much your into car shows and trophies but at the end of the day the biggest critic you need to satisfy is yourself.
Congrats on getting to enjoy your car. Now that I have a pretty clean hatch I kind of miss the "building" part a bit. It's daily that I have to talk myself out of ripping this car apart and customizing it. I just like smoothed and tucked engine bays, makes me want to barf every time I pop the hood and see holes and spaghetti everywhere.![]()
That sounds like a travesty if you ask me. Shame that you'd have to list the obvious for someone who's supposed to be a judge. 3rd? How in the hell did that car come in 3rd?
Car shows at that level are won/lost based solely on the likes/dislikes of the "impartial" judges. Not to compare the red car to your beauty, but I heard second hand that the judge that handed me my 3rd place at Mustang week didn't like the car from the jump. (That'll get you a win everytime)
As for the sign,...yeah...I agree. It was this sign that "informed" the drunk woman that was scowling at the notion that I cut up a 68 Mustang, and put fox body panels on it, that I had in fact done the opposite.
Done at Kinkos, superimposed on top of a picture of the grille.

Not even dude the effort was a step ahead of everyone there and it was in plain sight . The judging has always sucked there . My buddy who is a painter couldn't believe how flawless the car was and he rips apart everything apart because his eyes are so trained to catch the littlest flaws . Scott's car is just impeccableThey need to see the bottom side of the car to appreciate all the effort. Not many rotisserie fox builds going on.
