Is it possible that removing the spring allows longer the normal piston travel?I don't see in any way how removing the spring would damage a slave cylinder seal...
Not from what I can tell. It just makes pedal engagement softer. It doesn't change the distance travelled by the pedal. .Is it possible that removing the spring allows longer the normal piston travel?
The Steeda assist spring is $14.95. Just get it. If its true it that completely removing the spring can cause the slave cylinder to leak spending $15 bucks will save you money and aggravation in the long run. If itsI don't want to believe this, but I'm starting to. Ugh
who cares , its only 15 bucks.
