Looking the 4 eyes?

That car has been sitting in the same place for at least 5 years now, that is 99% surface rust, I think it was a 4 cylinder car, I have not even opened the doors in years, I don't know why I keep it!
it can be yours and I think I even have the title but you have to take the tree with it!

Just watched Road Kill with the rusted out 55 chevy. Chevy body ford 9 inch and a 426 Hemi motor. Could this 4 eyed one be build the same way. Mustang 4 eye Dana 60 and a Gen 1 or 2 or 3. Bring the tree along it makes good fire wood. Could be that this has been done a few hundred times already. OK how about a 12bolt and a 360 or a 440 or a 401 Konosha Vibrator could be a better choice on the motor. What do you think.

i want to do a straight axel, 460 cube, fender well headers, 9" with wheel wells cut out to fit some pie crust cheater slicks like the old gassers from the 60's. I don't know if I could make it look 'right'
Pipe dream.

Some how I don't think it would look right for a 80s car, but the first gen mustang are way better with that look. Everything but the straight axle and the cut out wheel wells or the pie crust slicks on the 4 eye. Also I think it is way to new for the rat rod look. I think their are cars on the road right now that look like rat rods and the driver has no idea it looks like one.

Stop with the 'rat rod' thing, I don't care where it came from, it's one of those used up terms that get abused, now you have shops that can create the 'rat rod ' look with paint, like faux wood grain. My stang can be called a modern 'rat rod' because it has dull paint, rock/door ding chipped paint, faded/missing trim and different colored front seats. It's not on intentional. Just 'not finished'.
Now back to the pipe dream, a 'gasser' style fox mustang? I like the idea and like I said I'd do it if I could make it look right, yes it would be a little cartoon-ish, like stuffing a big block in a metropolitan.

Actually,

'85 5.0 cars equipped with an automatic were fuel injected, but it was Ford's terrible central fuel injection system, or CFI. This was the fuel injection system they used on 1983-1985 Crown Vics, Grand Marquis, and Town Cars. It's well known for being unreliable.

About the dash, I'm one of those weird folk that actually prefer the '79-'86 dash to the '87-'93 dash. I really like the cockpit theme they added in '85.
Agree 100%. I’ve had both. The 85-86 interiors are more aesthetically pleasing to me. The newer stuff was cookie cutter but that’s just my tastes/opinion. I miss my 86. If I did get another car I’d go 85 and stay carbed with a big inch motor. Just because I grew up on carburetors and wouldn’t need to spend a bunch of time and money in an upgraded EFI system. I’d update everything else but keep that old school feeling. Lol.

this is actually the second time this plant has grown in there, I posted a long time ago about it when it was bigger, cut it down and it grew back, it will have leaves on it in a couple months, I'll keep you posted.
