It's Grilling Time! The Official Stangnet Grill/Smoke Thread

Ok, I’m the vegetable that goes with the brisket now. I can’t move.

It turned out well. the D8 and the Huntspoint briskets are very similar in taste. The D8 is more tender though. Tender enough to cut with a spoon.

That‘s probably the last brisket for awhile for me, I’m all brisketed out for now.

In a couple weeks I’ll do a pork butt. Simple stuff till then, frozen pizza and the sort.

So, no real grilling here other than to brown the piece of meat prior to pressure cooking.

I got a wagyu chuck roast about two months back or so. This week I took it out of the freezer and put it in the fridge to thaw.

Best looking chuck roast I’ve ever dealt with.

It’s in the pressure cooker right now with onions, carrots, cabbage, potatoes and about six nice jalapeños.

It cost $39, cheapest chunk of wagyu I’ve bought.

Ill give a taste review in a bit.

No update picture but I'm really excited! Tonight I'm going to cut up the aged ribeye to get it ready to cook tomorrow! I'll take pictures and let you guys know how it turns out. I just cant decide how I want to cook it. Reverse sear, indirect heat, suvi, good old fashion direct heat. I'll have a lot of meat so maybe I'll try a couple of different ways.
