Engine What is this in the coolant port of lower intake gasket?

Some gaskets have this smaller port inside the coolant ports, others do not. Why the difference?

I’d have to look up the application. Do you have a brand and part number? That corner looks like a problem guaranteed to happen.
I would be hesitant to use paper only gaskets when Fel-Pro has steel core ones in different port sizes.

1250 R3's They came with the trickflow gasket kit. I chucked the ones that came with the Holley intake as they were even crappier.
