Progress Thread Snow - 93 GT Vert. Prepping for sale

Only item left I believe is the ground. Im not sure where the other end of that is. I guess I can chase it, but Im pretty sure it was to the lower intake. I guess I could just bolt it to the GT40 heads?

That is the ground for the O2 sensors. I believe it was attached to the back of the passenger head. I have mine on a bell housing bolt as I did not want it on an aluminum head.

Belt and ground done

Gonna fill the radiator and PS pump. Then I think it’s start time.

What am I forgetting?

I havnt wired the temp probe for the fan. Gonna wait till I know the car starts. Once things seem OK I’ll fit all that wiring and remaining lines proper. I’m of course speculating that the vehicle can run 5-10 min before the thermostat even opens.

Priming the PS - I def have a leak below. It seems to be coming out where the tube meets the first nut.

I’m inclined to continue to start it up and see how it goes before fixing this leak.

Good thread on the o-ring ordeal. Read all the way to the end as my guess is you have the Type II and can replace the o-ring.

I tried a Danco #6 oring, didnt seent to help at all.

This leak has been there since I replaced the PS pump a while back. Im going to start the vehicle to test things out. Then I will need to decide whether or not to go back to the old pump or replace to the new line (which I have but never installed, didnt know I needed to).

Videos work... Didn't hear much of a backfire, sounded like timing way of to me one or two miss fires not on the compression stroke in the second video
Thanks

I need to go socialize with the family. Unlikely will be able to get more of it done today.

Next up - timing videos! Unfortunate as I felt like I got the distributor in perfect. Lol
