The grey one is War Admiral, which has won several events, including Foxtoberfest twice. The owner, Tom, is super down to earth. The red one is Dylan Mcneil's 4-eye with a 5.8 "Predator" (?) GT500 motor. The orange one is John Brooks beautifully customized 4-eye that has S550 seats. Three world-class foxes, in my book.

We were at 2 private events that included tours of the Daniel Carpenter museum with the Cobra R I posted earlier, and then we were hosted by Vaughn Gittin Jr. himself at RTR's facility. Some crazy cool drift cars.

I'm sitting at the Cabarrus Brewery now waiting for @85GTStangGuy & will snap pics after a beer or few.

Had too many beers... No pics snapped, but ran into Larry (@85GTStangGuy), Neil (@TripleYellow), and his buddy Jamie. Had great a really great night with convos, Saleen/Vortech intake instruction, and amazing foxbodies. Engaged Tom with War Admiral again, and he's talked me into a better catch can from Vibrant Racing. Hope that clears up the smokey crap from venting the crankcase to atmosphere.

The results are in!

Larry schooled me 3 out of 3 times. Have to say, to my eye, he was a consistently good driver out of the hole. The first two passes, I flat out drove badly and was clearly out of practice. Thankfully, our 3rd run was a great one with my bumper at his door across the stripe running him down, but just didn't have enough, this year. Hope this becomes a tradition. The cars are actually pretty closely matched, and Larry ran a new personal best on his last run, ut I'll defer to him to tell ya about it.

I also got to meet Brew2l, tonight. He's definitely my personal favorite foxbody content creator. He was there in the teal car.

DAM that car would never leave my sights, I would even park at a hotel and sleep in the car. wonder if he had any kill switches on it? dam thieving bastards.
If you are running a distributor engine (5.0 etc) pull the rotor out from under the cap and put it back together. The rotor will fit in your pocket, no tools needed, and the engine will not start without it. Most thieves would be looking for a kill switch and waste time, but it's not gonna run.
