1965 mustang 351 850 hp+ primary tubes 1 7/8 or larger and a 3 inch or larger collectors?

I am looking for headers for a 1965 Mustang 351 w 850+ hp the primary tube must be at least 1 7/8 inch primary tubes and a 3 inch or larger collectors. Smaller header limit the engines flow dropping hp to 550. hurts the engine with too much back pressure. Can some one help me?

So let me get this straight, you are losing 300 HP just because of header restriction. That in itself is unheard of. SB engines in a 66 is not unusual, why not just call Hooker and have them make you a set and get your 300 hp back. Are you using a super charger or a pro charger.. would love to hear about the parts used to build a 850 hp 351 windsor. Please post .

hmm i am thinking to loss of 300 hp due to header restriction is a typo. I wonder what you have to do to get a 351 W to make 850+ hp, must be quite an engine. The trick will be creating a suspension to allow a 65 mustang to put that power to the ground.

If it has a 427W and has NOS it is easily able to make 850 HP..

And a Nitrous engine likes a free flowing exhaust system.

I am not going to discredit his claim just yet.
Pic's would obviously help a bunch.
And a 427W on N02 should probably get custom made headers anyway.

That would be a lot of N0s, that said a Ford racing 4 bolt roller block , a stroked 427 rotating assembly a set of high flowing aluminum heads , 10:1 compression a pro charger with 8 psi boost. A set of Hooker long tube headers. That set up may make 850 crank hp. However no header combination would create a 300 hp loss or gain, maybe 30 hp. Engine masters has done several tests on dyno hp gain or loss with several exhaust combinations. It was minimal.
There may be more range of loss.or gain on turbo equipped engine.

I ran a 427 windsor in a 180 inch RE dragster it had a SCAT crank , Ibeam rods, 10.5 compression, good set of heads air gap intake Demon carb . Thst engine dynoed around 480 - 500 hp on C12. Ran 9.50s

I am guessing numbers that are pulled from one's rear end and not a dyno of any kind.
