Does anyone know the length of the non-retractor side of the rear seat belts on the 87-89 vs 90-93? Trying to understand if shifting to an 87-89 set would move the buckle further from the seat cushion. I circled the side I’m curious about. I have aftermarket belts in my 89 so I’m curious about the OEM units. Thanks!!

The 90-93 buckles are shorter than 87-89, but they also bolt into a completely different area of the trans tunnel.
The older buckles (79-89) kinda bolt in more towards the rear and come over the seat cushion.
The 90-93 buckles bolt to the trans hump and come through the seat cushion, which is why they are noticeably shorter.
