    Alternator Wiring - Hot or Switched?

    From what I can gather from the wiring diagrams I have amassed, the alternator is connected to the hot bus but it almost seems like it should be on the switched bus. Is this correct?

    Spark Problems!

    My spark is arcing from the #7 distributor terminal to the clip which holds the cap in place. These are brand new wires and plugs. The spark plug was cleaned and gap was double checked. Dielectric grease was put on both ends of the wire and on the plug threads. Ideas?
