    Tranny leak

    Seems I'm leaking tranny fluid from the seam between the bellhousing and the transmission. I gave it a little look-over and it looks like the bolts to tighten it are INSIDE the bellhousing and I'm not equipped to take on a job like that nor can I really afford to have any extensive work done...

    So I put RTV on the valve cover, attach the gasket, and put two dabs of RTV on the head at the front where the timing chain is....no RTV anywhere else on the head?

    Rough idle, worse MPG, dying at red lights, shaking....
