Power Steering from 5.0 to Big Block

The stock bracket will work if you make your own mounting plate and spacers like i did. I'll have to take a pic of my current serp. setup next time i take the car out to show how i made everything work with a CSR E-waterpump, stock 5.0 P/S pump, stock 5.0 crank pulley, and a summit racing...

looks like me, tweaked GT, and smockdoiley are the resident BBF gurus? lol... FYI... to add some info for people interested in doing this swap..... This swap is not as expensive as you may think, I built my motor for around $6500 for everything, yes its very fast. The torque is amazing...

    flowmaster..what the best...

loud, go with 1 chamber flows or outlaw race series. The super 44 was meant as a smaller replacement for the super 40s for the smallblock v8s. I have the super 40s on my fox with tails and its sounds pretty sexy.

Read this post about Mustangs on a Dodge forum. Called us RICE

People ask me whats the 7.5 fender badge for, i tell them its my 0-60 time. Don't get me wrong i don't play favorites, i own 3 icons of the old big 3. Would i buy a 4th gen. F-body (LTX or LSX) over a mustang, sure would (unless its an 03-04 cobra). I've met a lot of cocky mustang and...

    Stoppin in to say hi...

I know chevy bashing when i see it lol. But I really like the car as a DD. Its already beaten down its fair share of cocky mustang owners :p And i've beaten down my fair share of camaro drivers too. I don't play favorites, i own one of each lol, Ford, chevy and dodge.

    Stoppin in to say hi...

After tuning and cam swap, RRs, etc. I lost oil pressure, was at 40 psi cold start, then 6 psi hot idle, then 1-2 psi hot idle after driving it around a little. Can't find a damn thing wrong with it, no noises at all, and it runs very strong. I decided to pull it out and do a stock rebuild on it...

I know i haven't stopped in for a while just came by to see if anything new was happening on here. I've been pre-occupied with my new chevy :) pulling an LT1 out sure sucks major ass lol. Sold my old built 5.0 motor/trans/etc. for $1000. The 466 is still running great after 3 years of being...

cam choice for the 5.0L ranger

Street/strip cruiser, the motor has stock compression, made 243rwhp with the stock cam through a built AOD with stock stall, i have a B303 in it now, but want to change it to either a TFS 1 or E303 because i really don't/can't want to change or afford to change to a bigger stall. Eventually i...

    First post in forever

i had a moped once. I stretched and raked out the end along with stretching the whole frame :) , added highway foot pegs, made it a rigid suspension and had the loudest most obnoxious exhaust system ever made. It was awesome, i miss it lol. I just can't seem to leave anything stock or stock-ish...

Next project: Turbo 5.0L Ranger in the works

I'll post pics of the truck tomorrow, and since the truck is a 3.0L V6 with a manual tranny, it'll make it that much easier to use my fox floor shifter from the stang lol, pretty much all the parts that came out of my mustang when it had the 5.0L are gonna be re-used, so this should be a cake...

Next project: Turbo 5.0L Ranger in the works

well, first, we just want to get it in the truck and running, then plumb the turbo after a summer or two of N/A fun. A B303 cammed ranger would still be fun :) If you could give me your uncle's email address, it would be great to ask troubleshooting questions incase we get stuck on something...

Next project: Turbo 5.0L Ranger in the works

My friend gave me his 95 ford ranger for free and its in almost perfect condition. We are putting my old 5.0L from my mustang in the truck, stalling the AOD to 3,000 rpms, putting in a TCI VB, and putting in a new set of lifters (since one collapsed, hence my 460 swap). I traded my exhaust...
