    Flat tire, need help with rim size and tires.

    Hello, I got a flat tire on the way to work today. I have a 2001 GT with the stock bullit rims. Are these 17x8 or 17x9? I currently have 245 45s on the front and 275 40s on the back. I will be buying four new tires. What size should I get? Would 255 45s work well all around? Thanks,

    Pic of my new ride

    Just showin off my new ride! Car is a 2001GT and has 43,000 Kms. Mods are magnaflow catback , MAC CAI, Hurst shifter, and a SCT xcaliberII tune. The thing is pretty mint inside and out I am happy with the ride compared to my old 5.0.

    Tire.com says 235-45-17 on a 17x9 inch rim..

    When I go to order tires off of tire.com they recommend the 235-45-17 size for the 2003 17x9 cobra rims? I was thinking a 245-40-17 would work better.. Any reason why they would recommend the 235s? One would think they should know alot about tires since thats all they sell!
