Buying a 99-2003GT so I have a few questions.

Hey,

Well my 5.0 got smashed up a few months ago so I am looking at buying a 99-2003 but am having a hard time finding one for a reasonable price in my area. I keep hearing how small the rear seat is for sitting. I was wondering how much smaller it is then the fox rear seat for room, and if a snowboard would fit with the seat down. I would put the snowboard in the trunk and into the backseat with the seat down. Would that work?

The backseat isn't really smaller, but you have less headroom. On the Fox, the roof is flat, so the people in the backseat have the same headroom as the driver and front passenger.

On the SN95, it has a curved roof and it begins to come down right where the backseat passengers head is. I'm 6'1" and when i sit in the backseat of my Fox, i fit fine, but when i sit in my '03 GT, i have to tint my head to the side.

Nobody sits in my backseat anyway. If i ever need to take 2 passengers, i use a different car.

A snowboard should fit. WIth the rear seats folded down you have a good deal of room. It should be as much as the Fox so if you could fold your seats down in the fox and fit it, it should work with the Sn95. I've fit a bunch of things into my car. A bike, a wheelchair, 2x4's. etc.

My 14 year old son, who is 5'9" now, rides in the back of ours all the time and has no complaints. Guess it depends on who you have riding back there.

congrats if you get your new wheels. couldn't find a decent price in my area either so I bought one with a bad motor cheap.... er....ish
