Looking to do some mods to help with MPG. I have a 2002 GT vert automatic. I have a K & N air intake. How much more would a cat-back exhaust and maybe a chip help. Gas in Wisconsin is $3.50 now and only going up. Thinking of selling and buying a 2012 Focus. Thanks
Hi, On my 2001 GT the stock tensioner was jerking back and forth every minte or so, So I replaced the belt tensioner, idler pully and the belt. The new one does the same thing. Is this normal or is something else causing this. Thanks for any help.
Hi, I took it to a local garage with does a/c. $24 to test, $30 for the low presure switch, $24 to install. In and out in an hour. Needless to say I bought lunch. Good call on the switch. THANKS:hail2:
Hi, Thanks for your help. That will help. Is there any chance if the low pressure switch was bad, would that cause the clutch not to spin with engine on, a/c on. Also the clutch spins very freely with engine off. Thanks
Hi, I have a '97 Cobra, 41,000 miles, 2 old owners. This spring the windows fogged up quickly, now blows warm air when on a/c. Ford dealer wants $112 per hour to mess with. Any cheaper tips would be great. Thanks:shrug:

Will someone please help with the combination to install a lock cylinder in a '67? My manual dosen't say. I try quite a few times with a new lock and ended up with the tumbers all over. The old one came out easy. Thanks for any help.:shrug:
Hi, I removed the old lock cylinder ok, but the key would spin all the way around. So ,I don't know the correct position of the release hole. Any help would be great, along with the combination to install. Thanks for any help. It's for a '67 Mustang.
I talk to a Ford mechanic, told me to listen for the fuel pump to prime for a couple seconds, then check the theft light, to make sure it went off. Then floor the gas pedal and hold it, to check the "choke", it fired right up after that.:nice:
