Sounds like new door pins and rollers are in need. They wear flat after a while and won't hold the door open.
They're a dime a dozen for the Fox bodies, but you might have to do a little looking for an SN95. You might still be able to get them through Ford?

you can get the whole bottom hinge online through latemodelresto. Mine is doing the same thing, the whole bottom hinge is junk. Kind of expensive, I think like 60 something bucks. But peace of mind getting new rather then used.
