    What is the small 90 degree pipe fitting that right behind the hangars? I blocked off the O2 sensor ports but I'm not sure what the other is for. Your help is greatly appreciated.

    To answer Mustanman33: I am getting 10-11 psi with the adjustment screw removed. To CrazyPete: Thanks for the info. that's what I'm gonna do.

    that's the same FPR that I have now and I can't get the psi low enough. did you modify the stock fuel lines at all?

    Now that I'm thinking about it, do I even need to do anything with my stock pickup if I run new lines from the tank to a mechanical fuel pump? Thanks for clearing this up for me.

    Yes, I'm installing a carb'd setup. I attempted to use the stock EFI pump but couldn't get the psi down low enough. So I am taking the sound advice of others and doing it this way. Sorry for the lack of info in the original post.

    oil pump shaft

    Thanks for the feedback. I finally got it to drop in after about 15 minutes. Of course it was off a bit so I had to pull it and redo it. Within 10 seconds the next time go figure.
