Any tips on replacing in tank fuel pump with holley blue

I will be dropping my tank in the next week or so and replacing the pickup and intank fuel pump with a tank insert and a holley blue.

Does anyone have tips or recommendations that will save me some time and #&$^ words?

Where should I mount the fuel pump? What size lines and fittings do I need or should I use?

your using a carb i assume?

Yes, I'm installing a carb'd setup. I attempted to use the stock EFI pump but couldn't get the psi down low enough. So I am taking the sound advice of others and doing it this way.
