    Winter Projects

i've been remodeling the house since may, new floors, drywall, paint, bedroom, and 2 bathrooms. I'm trying to sell my V rod, and i'm looking for a CB or King project car, something I can build the way I want it.

I want to clear this King ? up

OK I have a question about optioned cars. I talked to a guy at Carlisle this year who has a II for sale. He claims it is a cobra II, BUT it has no decals, no rear spoiler and no front air dam. This guy said his mother ordered the car, wanted a CB II but didn't like the spoilers or decals. He...

    Barrett-Jackson

That poor car has been passed around a lot. I saw it at Carlisle a few years ago and it had a 289 in it. Then, it was for sale in MI for $19K for a long time. $11k seems to be a decent price for the condition, and modifications made to the car.

    photoshopped a couple coupes

make the wheels and tires on that first one a little larger to fill the wheel well and it would be kick ass

    Something odd I noticed

I've bought and sold many mustangs in the last 10 years and it's funny, for all the II bashing i've seen I have NEVER had any problem seling one. RIght now I have a supercharged 92LX with 63K orig miles and the car is in amazing shape and I can't sell it for $8K. Funny what sells and what doesn;t

    all you SC/tuner guys

I got my SC installed, and did have a chip burned. My car made 283HP and like 340TQ. The car is stock, stock manifolds and stock intake. How badly will adding a trick flow intake screw with my tune? It costs like $100 to reflash the chip and $100 an hour dyno time and if I need to get the chip...

    another "what's it worth" thread

So some of you know I have a 92 LX hatch, well it's time to move it along, I found the car i'm really after, a 95 CObra R with very low miles. My LX...63,000 orig miles, medium Titanium frost, grey mint interior with CD player, brand new ROH ZS racing 17: wheels and new tires, Vortech A trim...

lesson learned: don't buy used stuff

well this is how much of a screwing I took....1750 for the kit plus 30 pound injectors, and the total to install with the shop having to get all new parts was $2130, that was without a tune. MAF meter, $169, 255 pump $129 and of course the 70 MM TB $229. I got soaked, I will never buy something...

blower is on now I have tuning questions

I didn't do any adjustments on it while it was on the Dyno, they made all the adjustments, They know I don;t know anything about this fuel injection and stuff so I'm begining to feel like i'm being screwed with.

blower is on now I have tuning questions

OK I got my VOrtech A trim on, I put in 30 pound injectors, matching mass air meter, 70MM TB, and spacer, along with a 255 fuel pump, and FMU. I had it put on the dyno and right off of idle it's lean, and any kind of boost it starts to ping. The guys adjusted the timing but it still is lean...

lesson learned: don't buy used stuff

I was assured by the seller MANY MANY times over that everything was there to install except the fiting that goes into the oil pan and the lower oil hose. I had to buy a complete bolt kit, belt, oil lines, Alt bracket, and spacers from Vortech. The shop doing the job is also charging me to...

lesson learned: don't buy used stuff

I took my SC to the local speed shop here in town and the "kit" I bought used is missing more than half the pieces. ALt bracket was gone, no belt, not a nut or bolt that was supposed to be with a SC, a bunch of crappy looking pieces that look like they came from Home cheapo. my instillation just...

I think I might have found something

I went to a shop today here in PA, getting some last minute pointers (mainly on tuning) before I install my SC and as I was leaving I saw this vert sitting in back of his garage. here's the details: 89 LX 5.0 vert with 46,000 orig miles. he got it after the guy refused to pay the $1200 bill for...

    supercharger VS. NA motor question

So I bought a SC, a Vortech V1 setup, and I was going to go at the install myself, but I ws talking to the local Mustang parts guy here and he told me a few things. He claims he has never had a customer who installed a SC and didn;t have issues. Constant tuning, low reliability, and bearing...

    dang superchargers

i guess i wussed out, I decided to sell the Supercharger kit, I talked to a ton of people today who claim they had nothing but issues after installing, I'm so confused I don;t want to screw up a very nice low mileage LX.
