    throttle body

    the 65mm is much more manageable. you may want to try adjusting the idle screw on the throttle body before ditching it...it may be set too low causing drivability problems.

    No Thermostat: Is it ok?

    slightly off topic...what is the advantage of using a 195 tstat over a 180? i would think 180 is a lower temperature and hence a little safer for the engine.

    i don't think you'll have to change the headers. i had my 2 1/2 flowmaster h-pipe and cat back 2-chamber system on before using the stock headers...i later replaced the headers with bbk 1 5/8" shorties but they seemed to fit fine. i have found that the flowmaster design that i have didn't fit...

    Question for the 5.0 folks - Intakes

    i bought the gt40 intake because it looks so cool but it is a bit expensive. the cobra intake has the same lower as the gt40 and can support almost as much hp as the gt40...it is also quite a bit cheaper...i think around $350 or so. good luck!
