    Rearend fitment?

Goddamnit, I just hate getting alll excited over something like this, only to later realize the part is only for local pick up. Alas, I live right smack dab in the middle of oklahoma and the damn part is in St. Louis.

    Rearend fitment?

There aren't any spring eprches on it, I'd have them welded on to fit. Like you said, I'm wondering If I'd have trouble with the inner wheel wells, or if that could be compensated for with backspacing. I would think I'd have trouble with my stock wheels, and if that were the case I'd throw on...

    Rearend fitment?

What's the narrowest rear that'll fit in a 66 fastback without any trouble? I've found an 8.8 that's been narrowed to 55.25" from mounting surface to mounting surface, and was wondering if that would work for me, or if i would run in to trouble? Anyone know? I'd really like to jump on this...

Best tire choice for Stock Styled Steel 65 wheels?

I'm running 225/70r14 on mine, with just 1inch drop springs in the front. They seem to be doing alright. I haven't noticed any rubbing at all. They suck from a performance stand point though, ust because they're sooo damn skinny. It's easy to lose traction taking hard enough turns. On...

    Worth the money?

Damn. That's my point exactly. I could spend way more than 750, and still not have what that thing comes with. Hence spent 873, and he already had Trac loc, and had to have it rebuilt. Would have been more if he had to buy a new unit.

    Worth the money?

Well, limited slip ~ 350 Gears~ 150 Gear install kit~ 130 Gear install~ 200 Thats already up to $230, and thats factory replacement parts. The guy uses high-end rear end parts to make them stronger than factory, so the way i see it, it's a good deal...

    Worth the money?

AWESOME! How do you like those 3.80s? I was thinking that might be just a bit too much for my DD, but I really haven't had anyone with personal experience suggest any gears. Just based off of the RPM calculators on line and such I figured 3.55s would be good for me.

Why oil seems to be almost "milky" after EFI swap?

I had a milky substance in my oil after rebuilding the engine. It was only the lube used on the bearings, cam and such though.

    Worth the money?

Welll, my engine is apparently in the 300-350 range at the fly wheel, and i kinda wanna hit a small (100) or so shot at the track. I probly won't be sinking any money into rims and tires, so I have ****t 215/70r14 tires, and I can rip on the little C4 decently. even though I don't have a shift...

    Worth the money?

    Worth the money?

Hey guys. So I'm looking to upgrade my gears in the 8" I came across this listing on ebay and was wondering if it is worth the money? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230022705417 If I figure $150 for gears, $130 for an installation kit, and $200 for shop...

    Brake Issues

What do you mean by bleeding past the seals? We've bled it several times, but it's been probly 4 months since the last time we did. Might try it again. Ya, the peddle really isnt spongey, and when it catches it brakes fine. It never gets hard then easy, like it would if I had air in the...

    Brake Issues

Hey guys, As the title states, I'm having issues with my brakes. It's got 4 wheels power drums with a single bowl master cylinder. I personally don't have a problem with how they work, but my dad doesn't like it one bit. Basically the problem is, there seems to be a bit too much travel in...

    8.8 fitment in 66?

That's what I'm getting from this thread. Basically, for 65-66 stangs, an 8.8" rear from a fox, and 94+ wheels (bullits, FR500s, cobras, etc.) will fit no problem?

    Intake swap

Since I know there's a TON of experience on here: Does anyone have a rough estimate of how much torque and horsepower I might have gained on a mildly built 289, in switching from a stock 4bbl intake to a Weiand Stealth intake? I know it saved me about 20 lbs in weight.:) Thanks guys.
