    Engine is In

    Cant wait to get her running, its been too long. Looking back I wish I would have kept all nuts and bolts together and label them in baggies or something. Goin good tho, need to install the carb and throttle linkage tomorrow. Heres a pic of the engine and c4 on the engine hoist.

    I think there is a tap dancer in my hood

    when the tapping happens does it feel like youve lost alot of power? It might be a valve that needs to be tightened, but that would make a sound in neutral me thinks Gotta love these fords :hail2:

    How to cut the dash?

    The PO's of my stang cut the dash, appears to have been with a sawzall or something, it was such a horrible job. Since then ive added 4 rear 6x9's a clarion cd player and an 18"sub that I got for free with 500watt amp. Not only will it beat the hondas in a race, It will out thump them...

    Hood Fell down :(

    I had my hood stored somehow it was knocked over in the middle of the night, it was off my car because were putting in a new engine. It fell and landed on a piece of concrete denting it and ****ed up the paint, depressing. :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang:

    hrmm, I actually hooked up the booster to my mastercylinder (standard) and my regular pedal, I need a new brakeline to connect the cylinder to the block, but it seems like the peddle is pushing fine, well I guess Ill just have to pull everything :nono:

    My mustang has standard drum brakes, In one of my part cars there is the power brake setup, Is it safe to just swap that over, but just put my master cylinder on the booster, or are the two boosters different, Thanks for the input, Still waitin on the engine and want to do everything I can :D

    thanks for the info, so prime ontop of the laquer first then use some gloss enamel :hail2: :cheers:

    Thx for the reply, Should i be using gloss enamel? I dont know too much about painting, but this will make a huge difference on my car. Looks like its gonna be more money than I thought for the chrome stuff ~90$ Just gotta open up the wallet again heh.

    alrighty, got everything off except the heater controls I see the alan head screws on the knobs connecting to the arms, do i just pull those and it pushes up in the dash or is there more? Thanks :) Need to get this thing painted

    Recently rebuilt my 302 which will be ready near the end of this week and have finished work on the engine bay/drivetrain. So I already have new carpet for the interior. I need to begin work on the dash. Im wondering whether or not I should buy this kit from mustangsplus that has all new chrome...
