    I'm using a torque convetor from Advance Auto Parts listed as an FM18, would this be the right one. Why can't I get it to go any farther into the tranny. Could it be the bellhousing. I know I got a 157tooth.

    When I put the convertor onto the tranny I can feel it do two click on. When I get it to what I think is all the way on the stud for the torque convertor are flush with the outer edge of the bellhousing. Is this correct. How else can I tell if it is all the way on. Should it turn freely?

    Which part number did you get? Let me know how much clearance you have between the block and the weight attached to the flexplate. Thanks for your help.
