Why won't the starter come off?!

There's a third bolt up there, and it's no fun getting it out.

    96-98 Mustang's, is there a "a/c delay relay?"

It takes my compressor 10 seconds to turn on after I turn the knob on and a friend said something about an a/c delay relay sticking. Anybody know where it is?

Sorry, but I need X-Pipe Install Help

There's no reason why you need to replace the studs with bolts unless you messed up the threads. Also, make sure the pipe is bolted up right since it's a ball and socket type of seal. You may have a leak at the passenger side flange if you forgot to put a gasket there.

Finally installed BBK L/T's, have some questions though

I had the L/T's installed in two days, but the last three days were spent trying to get the front stock coil springs back in. I tried every single way mentioned on Stangnet and here and used the internal and external spring compressors. Maybe I messed something up or maybe it's because I have a...

    I can't compress my coil springs...help!

Guys, I am putting the car back together. I already have the spring out, I need to get it back in. When the A-arm is all the way down, the spring is at a bad angle and I can't get the bottom over the round hump in the middle of where it sits. I have the a-arm sitting on the ground now, I don't...

Can a wideband O2 be installed in the rear O2 bung?

Instead of welding a bung near the l/t headers, can it be screwed into one of the rear O2 bungs? The a/f ratio doesn't change within a foot does it?

    I can't compress my coil springs...help!

After getting L/T's done, I realized I needed a coil spring compressor. I went to AZ and got the internal one, yeah right, that's a joke. Then I dropped the control arm and tried jacking up and it went straight up instead of towards the k-member. I spent 3 hours today and got nowhere. Any other...

    Grinding when clutch depressed!

Does it make the noise as soon as you push the clutch pedal down any little bit? If so, your TOB is on it's way out. I drove my car a week after the noise got really bad and it eventually stripped my clutch cable adjuster gear and the TOB broke into two pieces.

Clutch catches high on pedal with adjustable quadrant??

Let me explain what happened, TOB began to seize up on input shaft. I had to drive it for a while until I got a new King Cobra kit, but by the time I fixed it, the TOB broke in two. Because the TOB was frozen on the shaft, I had to put extreme pressure on the clutch pedal to get it into gear. I...

Anyone bought SFC's from Art's Performance Parts?

I bought his brand of full length SFC's and am wondering how much bending was needed to fit my 98? I'm trying to find a shop now that will do it and I hope there isn't a lot of modification needed because they'll probably raise the price of the install. Last question, what do I have to do to my...

Is it a bad idea to go aftermarket on a motor mount?

I want OEM style motor mounts and no reinforced or solid mounts, my convertible shakes enough as it is. My question is will mounts from Advance, Autozone, etc. do the job like Ford mounts? Ford wants $70+ and I can get a brand at AZ for $42. Any ideas on the quality of their mounts?

    96-98 cobra cost

Yeah, I've seen a lot of different prices for the cars everywhere. A lot of people on the Mustang sites swear to pay bottom dollar for one. I would check out the KBB and NADAguides price and shoot for the GOOD condition catagory only if it's in perfect shape.

Need pics on where to weld full length SFC's on 98.

I'm getting a pair of full length SFC's and need some pics to know where to mount the front and back? The seller said they would have to be bent a little for my application. For those who have had theirs welded at an exhaust shop, did the shop refuse to do it because you didn't have any...

    Need help with stock quadrant

Okay, my TOB locked up and before I could change it, the clutch pedal became extremely hard to press in. I ended up having to push it in a few times until I got my car to the shop. After replacing it, the clutch pedal seems extremely high and the clutch engages right after I put pressure on the...

Replacing clutch, other parts I should replace too?

I doing a clutch replacement this weekend. I've read a little about a few other parts I should replace while I'm in there. So far, I'm getting a King Cobra clutch kit that has the alignment tool and TOB and rear main seal. I've read a little about an input shaft bearing or something. Can you...

Here's the deal, I'm at a training school 170 miles from home and my noisy TOB is making an awful grinding, whining, and a loud metal rubbing noise once the pedal is pressed down, it gets worse the further down I press it, it's ear picering loud, the car acts like it wants to die too. For a...

Need HELP with those who have installed a UPR X-pipe!

After installing my UPR x-pipe on my 98, I found out that it doesn't fit right! I thought the gasket on the passenger side was leaking but it turns out that the flange on the x-pipe itself does not mate up to the exhaust manifold outlet, after I bottom the nuts on the studs, there is a gap on...
