Best way to get rid of bumpsteer?

I noticed that the bumpsteer kits state that they are for off-road use only. Would offset rack bushings be a better idea?

Best way to get rid of bumpsteer?

Long story short: Lowered my Stang with FMS "C" springs, had it aligned, and now I have bump steer. What is the best way to get rid of it. Keep in mind this is my wife and kid's daily driver, so safety is paramount. Thank's. :flag:

Where Does A Jackazz Look To Buy A Complete AOD to T5 Conv Kit?

Try AMP(All Mustang Performance). I see them advertising a conversion kit in their MM&FF add all the time.

When is torque box reinforcement needed?

When should torque box reinforcement be needed? Is it really needed for a car that is mostly street driven, with occasional drag strip(on street radials) and autocross, use? I'm getting ready to weld in my subframe connectors, and figured I'd do some reinforcing of the torque boxes while I'm...

AFS wheels are on the way. What tires to run?

Did a search. Wasn't very conclusive. Here's my mods: AFS Cobra R wheels - 17x8(4.95" BS) front , 17x9(5.95" BS) rear FMS "C" springs BOI upper and lower arms with no quad shocks What is the largest tire combo I can get away with no rubbing issues?

Fan clutch is on it's way out. Replace or go electric?

My Stang's temp is slowly creeping up at stops. And the A/C pressures are WAY up at idle. It also doesn't seem to be pulling much air at idle. So I'm assuming my fan clutch is not performing at its best. Should I replace it with a new one or go electric? My concerns are cost, reliability, and...

Ok,this isnt "5.0" tech..but it Ford big block

My vote would be for the 429-460. Here's my personal experience: 1969 Fastback stock internalled junkyard 1971 429 with 100K mile($300) Weiand Stealth intake($180) Total Performance headers($500) stock C6($50) 3.50 gears with Detroit Locker($550) Ran 12.70's all day on street tires...

Novi or Weiand for a carbureted 306?

This car is primarily gonna be street driven(3.55 gears - 2500 stahl). So it's gonna need to have good driveability as well as power. What are the advantages/disadvantages of a blower hat versus a box?

Novi or Weiand for a carbureted 306?

I've decided to go forced induction on my 306 powered 1963 Fairlane. I'm gonna keep the boost minimal for street use. And supplement N2O for strip duty. My current combo is a balanced 306 with 8.5:1 TRW forged pistons, stock rods, crank, ARP hardware, Twisted Wedge heads, and an NOS Double-...

The "CAI" is NOT a "performance" modification.

Here's an article that shows otherwise: http://www.corral.net/tech/powerplant/moroso/moroso.html 3.5 RWHP gain over a K&N panel filter. I went from a totally stock intake(paper filter with silencer) to the Moroso kit and definately noticed a gain. It wasn't mind blowing, but noticeable...

    Subframe connector install?

Isn't the body slightly twisted(due to slightly uneven spring rates) when the vehicle weight is on it. Wouldn't the chassis be straighter if the connectors were welded on while it was supported on a lift(for reference: the lift is in a body shop with a perfectly flat floor made for chassis work)?

    Subframe connector install?

I'm gonna put in some subframe connectors soon, and I have access to two lifts. Should I weld them on with the car weight sitting on the tires? Or should I put them on with the chassis supported and the tires hanging?

    feel like swapping for t5!!!

A gear change would be easier than a trans swap. I just went from 2.73's to 3.73's. The difference in acceleration and driveability is astounding. :hail2:

    Who knows edelbrock carbs?

Either one of the floats are hung open, or your fuel pressure is too high. Edelbrock's and Carter are very fuel pressure sensitive. They like no more than 5.5 psi of fuel pressure. Any more and they'll stall on quick stops or hard cornering. I've got 4 Edelbrocks in my stable. A 750 on my 460...

Who runs 12s with barely anything???

I had a buddy running 12.80's in a 5 spd notch a couple of years ago. Motor was bone stock. All it had was a March ram air, no belt, gears, exhaust, and nothing but two seats for interior.
