Subframe connector install?

Weld them on with the wieght on the suspension

Isn't the body slightly twisted(due to slightly uneven spring rates) when the vehicle weight is on it. Wouldn't the chassis be straighter if the connectors were welded on while it was supported on a lift(for reference: the lift is in a body shop with a perfectly flat floor made for chassis work)?

Not sure but I just answered his question from the knowledge I gained here. All I know is for the subframe connectors to be welded on correctly, the weight of the car is supposed to be on the suspension.

It may but with the wieght on the suspesnion the car is in its natural postion. Its in the postion it was made to be in as it travels down the road. Lifting the car by the chassis would make the car twist unnaturally.

I had the same thought/question. Me and the guys were thinking about lifting the car near the middle to remove any sag that was in the frame of this big lincoln. We decided that a SLIGHT lift in the middle would great, but too much is bad. We remembered that if you ALIGN DOORS on the car when on anything other than the tires, it throws it all out of wack after you drop it. So try best of both worlds, but don't SUPPORT the car in the center for complete install.
