    Majority rules, Looks like I'll use a torch, I had thought about letting the exhaust heat up the plastic enough to hit it with a rotory bit but I then thought about hot plastic being spun all over the place. I appreciate the help guys.

    Remove plastic stuck to midpipe? Friday night I was driving back to the house and a plastic ice bag was being blown across the highway, I exited as soon as I could but some of it had already stuck. It's a thicker than most and when the pipes cool down it really hard. Any suggestions taken...

    If you push in clutch with cruise control on, shouln't cruise turn off? In a 2002 GT

    Cruise Control, It does that on my 00, Every car that I have ever owned has done the same thing, just turn it off before you engage the clutch.

    Ok, need some info about U/D pulleys!

    Well, According to Steeda's adv. the replacement dampener is surrounded by injection molded material wich is the equivilant of the oem part. The only problem I had was pressing it back on, I had to create my own press using threaded rod and a number of spacers.

    I f you thermal wrapped a cold air kit(my piece of mac)from the fender duct up to the throttle body do you think that it would keep the air cooler cause it to heat up faster?

    Better safe than sorry, I dont think that it will hurt the IRS, but it's never safe to work under a car on a jack alone! Giving the circumstances of you pulling on , and moving the mid pipe arround you never know if only a jack will be very stable. Just my two cents, good luck man :flag:

    A while back some one mentioned that when you replace the stat, if you want to get one other than a stock replacement you have to tell the parts store it's for an older model t-bird?? :shrug: Can't find, I tried searching.

    I think I have a short,

    No electrical re-wiring has ever been done to the car, recently the winshield wipers will make one pass over the glass w/o me turning them on. I have never had anything like this happen, so I'm wondering if I may have a short somewhere? All replies are appreciated :hail2:

    Brake Pads,

    I'm bout to run up and pick up some pads, Wondering about bleeding the brakes. If I compress the calipers correctly(front and rear), will I need to bleed the brakes from the valve also? I appreciate the help.

    Is the aluminum D/s a must when having gears?, I know that due to the lighter weight of the d/s, when gears are added it reduces vibration. But I'm having the rear completly rebuilt and need to know before I take everything to the shop. I appreciate the responses, and flames if I'm wrong :flag:
