2 Questions,

1.) What does a manual tranny sound like when the universal joints go out?
2.) When the rear clutches go out does it make a rattle sound from either side?

I have a few noises coming from the car, the rattle is from the pass. side rear only when turning, and the other noise is from the trans./d.s. meeting point (I think) and only when happens when moving from a dead stop.

A clunk sound when you lift the clutch or put the car in gear.

Just check the u-joints for play, then you will know if they are bad or not for sure...
