    is that how you did it? My car died as soon as I took the hose off the plennum- so I just poured it into the hose. I am assuming it was OK since I got the smoke :nice:

    I just ran some in the car. If you look in the picture with the red circle, I took that hose off, and poured the seafoam into the hose itself, with the car off. I also put some into the plennum itself, but not much because it started to get messy. Then I cranked it up for a sec to get it...

    Is it necessary to prime the oil filter after oil change?

    Thanks for the responses. I am going to start putting some oil in the filter first -- atleast enough to get the element soaked.

    Do you guys prime the new oil filter after an oil change? With the filter being mounted on the side it is hard to not make a mess. Am I causing major damage by starting it with the filter totally dry ?

    By turning the key to the on position for a few seconds and that seems to correct the problem makes me think its the fuel pump. When you turn your car to the on position, can you hear the fuel pump come on? Is the fuel pump in the gas tank on this car? thanks!
