    If you get it tune well and drive nice they can get upto 25mpg. A friend of mine has a 6 in his ranchero and get that in the city.

    Use a sanding block when doing it, it will help you find the low spots too.

    302 Valve Lash/Head Help

    I do it the same way as SoCalCruising and its pretty easy once you get going. I also tend to go closer to the 3/4 of turn than half to keep them from ticking.

    How stress does a reverse Manual valve body put on the bottom end of a motor

    It take a little getting used to, im sure youll move it the wrong wat a few time i sure did. That valve body is a little much for a stock car, or do you have plans for more with the motor?

    Dont waste your money on the harness, it can be done easly with a trip to the part store and a few buck later your done! Also if you are having cooling problems take the fan also from than mid 90's taurus, they work great!

    I was thinking about that also, the starter getting too hot, but it also happens when it cold too. The last time it happened i let the car cool down for a few hours and tryed it agian with no luck. But i think i might put a heat sheild on it anyway. Thanks

    I have a 3g alternator on it now, but when the car IS running and all fans and pumps on it show a 14v charge at the batter. Could the regulator still be bad?

    I do have the grounding strap from engine to frame but its not 2gauge, so ill change that today and make sure all the connections are tight too. And yes i do have long tube headers, why do you ask?

    Are roller valve trains noisy?

    I have both a hyd roller and soild roller and i think the hyd rollers are pretty quiet when adjusted properly. THe soild well you just have to get used to it.

    I just put in my new auto meter gas gauge and when i turn the ignition on it barley moves. I put 10 gallons of gas so it should move more than that. Im thinking it might be the sender ans i bought a digital voltmeter to read the omh's but not sure how to do it, or what it sould read. Any other...

    Using a throttle cable in a classic?

    I have to use a throttle cable in my 67 and was just wonderinf if anyone has done the same? If so, what pedal did you use and if you haev any tips for installing it let me know. Thanks

    JME GAUGES N BEZELS

    Do it your self and get your money back. I put a set of autometer gauges in my 67. I used the 2 5/8 for fuel oil and water. And put the 5 in for tach and speedometer. I used hole saws to cut out the holes, really wasnt that hard.

    Problems installing B&M shifter

    Has anyone put a B&M shifter with the cable exiting in the front in there car? I havea 67 and am having problems routing the cable. It seams like the cable needs to exit in the rear for it to work. Thanks
