Using a throttle cable in a classic?

I have to use a throttle cable in my 67 and was just wonderinf if anyone has done the same? If so, what pedal did you use and if you haev any tips for installing it let me know.

I'm using a 70 model gass pedal in mine, though just about any ford vehicle with a cable throttle will work. For instance a 98 Crown Vic

I dont know what year they switched over...my 67 is mechanical and my 70 is cable. I really like mechanical better....

Must have been '69 for the switch. My buddy's '69 has the cable, I have a '68 parts car that's mechanical.
