    2.3 t5 bearing retainer

What could Hanlon do for the 2.3 T5 retainer? I've got a 2.3 T5 from an '88 with a 919 casting retainer, and Hanlon basically told me I was SOL when I spoke to them. Of course that was over a month ago, so maybe something has changed?

    2.3L T5 trans fluid

What is the proper trans fluid to use in a T5 from an 88 2.3L? Last three digits on the i.d. tag are 162. I know the World Class T5's require ATF, but I don't think the 2.3L trans were World Class in '88. What would be really great is if someone has access to the original owner's manual...

    Tri Y's and PS drop

Is there such a thing as headers that do not require the power steering drop bracket? This is for a '68 with a 302 and auto. Thanks, Andrew

    Ram hydraulic throwout bearing

Adjustment The RAM kit has several shims that you use to fine tune the adjustment. Basically take measurement from bellhousing to the clutch fingers and trans side of the bell, and make some calculations to figure out what shim stack to use.

    Ram hydraulic throwout bearing

Hi guys, I'm in the planning stages of my C4 to T5 swap, and I came across this Ram hydraulic throwout bearing for Ford T5's, Ram P/N 78130. http://www.ramclutches.com/zen-cart/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&keyword=78130 Does anyone have...

    T5 Steel Bearing Retainers

I'm doing a clutch job on a 1988 2.3L, and the throwout bearing retainer on the input side of the tranny is pretty chewed up. I know this is a common problem on the 5.0 T5's, and the steel retainer is a common mod. Is there such a thing as a steel retainer for a 2.3L T5? The only ones I've...

3 and 4 bolt ball joint

I know this has come up before, and I did do a search, but didn't find answers to all my questions. It appears that the consensus is that replacement upper control arms can have 3 or 4 bolts, and it doesn't make a difference. Did the factory run mixed parts every other week, or was is a...

    WTB - T5 Swap parts

I'm putting together the parts I need to swap a T5 in place of the C4 in my '68, and I was wondering if anybody had parts sitting around that I could use. 1) 28 oz flywheel for '68 302 2) T5 Crossmember for '68 302 3) '68 clutch pedal 4) '68 power disc brake pedal (auto or manual...

    65 clutch pedal in a 67

Not a direct fit I know the '65-'66 pedal is not a direct fit in a '67. Mustang Steve can modify them for use with his cable clutch kit, it involves the normal addition of the quadrant, plus modification of the pedal stop and the hangar bracket to make it work. He uses the early pedals...

    Explorer 5.0

I'm looking for a late model 5.0 to drop into my '68. I know the 89 - 93 5.0 HO are a good choice, but a little hard to come by, especially with low mileage. I've also heard some newer Explorers had equal or more powerful 5.0 liters. Maybe early 90's T-birds and Cougars as well? Can someone...

    1968 C4 to T5 - Fox pedal cluster

I'm considering swapping my C4 for T5 in my '68 with a 302. What are my pedal cluster options? Will any manual setup from '67-70 work? Does it need to be power brake / disc brake specific? How do you identify the right part? If I've got a Fox body donor car, is it possible to scavenge...

Did I get a good deal on a reman 4100 carb????

Update please Mustangprodude, did you ever get that 4100 installed? How is it working? I'm thinking of going the same route. Is it an actual 1.08 carb? What part number is cast into it - I remember you mentioning a 6Z E. Are there any other identifiers? Thanks, Andrew
