Dyno Results - Lean fuel condition. Need Help

It was a Chevy shop, and the guy suggested I bring a tuner in to work on it. What you you recommend going up to from 32 lbs ?

Dyno Results - Lean fuel condition. Need Help

Just return from the dyno shop - car made 274.07 rwhp and 304.94 torque with an A/F ratio average of 15.20. After the 1st pull we checked and cleaned the MAF sensor which was dirty. and that neted 2 more hp with torque staying the same. So, I then stopped back by the "garage" and had the...

Dyno Time - Care to guestimate ?

fuel pressure is set at 32lbs with the 24 pounders. What I would really like is having a knowledgeable tweecer user near by and have the motor tuned with it. :nice:

Dyno Time - Care to guestimate ?

Yup, 3 runs with wideband for $75. It should be interesting. Should have temps in the mid 50's to low 60's with 50-60% humidity. Hopefully the a/f will be on the mark. I'm saving up for a Ed Curtis cam and will get a good tune with a chip when that's installed.

Dyno Time - Care to guestimate ?

A Ricer ? Not. :) The Car Domain is old stuff. Sorry about that. The 285 was with FMS shorty headers, and a Diablo sport chip. If you take the 344 (flywheel) and deduct ~18% (lost thru the tranny etc) and that gives the approx 281.2 rwhp. The baseline I mentioned earlier was with MAC...

Pics of 94-95 with '05 GT fender badges

It's a little small, but it does just cover the existing holes. I believe I posted a pic under "New 05 GT badging" awhile back.

Dyno Time - Care to guestimate ?

It's finally geting cool here in central fla. So I 've scheduled some dyno time this week to see what's getting to the rear wheels. My baseline was 281 rwhp / 308 torque ( stock cam and no chip ) with all the mods in the signature except what's been added below. Here's what I've added...

    Need piston ring recommendations

Replaced the oem valve covers with some oem Cobra vc's on my 94GT daily driver which has ~130k + miles on the block. Found oil in the intake. This will be an excellent opportunity Mr. Curtis @ Flow Tech to work his magic on a custom ground cam. I'll also plan to replace the timing chain and...

what long tube for our cars?

If you have the money go Kooks or Bassani - Bling Bling. However, I went with the Mac 1 5/8" Ceramic Coated long tubes. They work great and look nice. Hey RIO 5.0 - did you get your car dyno'd with the Pro Chamber on ? I did the LT's and the ProChamber, but my motor temp jumped up 30...

    Plasma Booster

The C&L is great, just add a new sampling tube when you upgrade your injector's. It's good quality, and Lee B. will work with you on questions. Thanks, Dewman

    Plasma Booster

Has anyone tried or heard about the Plasma Booster from Ignition Solutions, Inc. ? They make a spark enhancement product that gives more spark duration / frequency thus making more hp. I believe the web site had a 2000+ GT making 4+ rwhp and about the same in torque. The articles in the...

    Installed Eldel 70mm TB

Yes ! Temperatures are in the low 80's, and I had some room to romp on it coming home from work. What a difference. I broke the rear end loose in 2nd gear with less effort than before. I have more torque for sure. Wish it was cooler for a Dyno run to see what's really there. :( But's...

    Installed Eldel 70mm TB

Took off the FMS 65mm tbody and installed the Eldelbrock 70mm tbody. This unit is nice quality. Easy install. Driving Impressions: No dyno yet waiting till the 95* temps and 88* humidity goes way. Better throttle response than the 65mm even with the heat - very crisp - pulls better...

    throttle body theory??

I've got a Eldelbrock Perfomer intake, C&L 76mm MAF, and a 65mm FMS tbody (see signature). Making 281 / 308 at the rear wheels. After that last dyno I took the Pro Chamber off and put my O/R X-pipe back on and set the timing to 12 degrees then put new NGK FR5 plugs in. I'm think I'm close to...

    New 05 GT badging

I decided that I liked the new '05 GT badging better than the classic running Pony, so I put'em on yesterday. But, of course they don't line up with the existing 94-95 badging holes so I ground off the guide pins and mounted them on. The original holes are large, but new GT do cover it them...

Brisk Spark Plugs: Another wonder deal ?

Has anyone heard of or tried the Brisk LGS spark plug ? I read the latest issue of 5.0 Mustangs, and at the very back they have a tech article on Brisk LGS performance plugs. Our 5.0 part # is DOR17LGS. The testing they did was through, but was done on a 4.6 modular Cobra. It produced a...

Curb Rash on my Cobra R rim

wytstang - good article thanks for the link. I can get some paint thru 5.0 Restoration for cheap. I may give it a try, or just leave it. I'm always short on time. matthiasj - the best teacher is experience. Sooner or later it will happen to him, then he'll learn from it. Thanks, Dewman

Curb Rash on my Cobra R rim

Can you buff out curb rash on a Cobra R silver finish ? Need your opinions. I let my 21 year old son drive my car today. I had it backed in to the parking space with the tires slightly cut to the right about 4 inches out from the curb. Anyway he cuts to the right as we pull out and...
