Cant get O2 sensor back in!! What size tread tap ??

 I am going to try to figure it out tomorrow. If its not too much trouble can you check and see for me? I hope Sears sells something like that. I have a tool to measure the thread, I just dont know if I will be able to find a tap that is big enough. That O2 opening is a pretty big one.

    BATTERY??

I hate chasing these electrical gremlins. You can try pulling the stereo and disconnecting all the power wires to see if that stops the problem. I had something similar happen and I had to pull out the factory amp and bypass those wires and it fixed the problem. I still dont know where the...

    BATTERY??

That is not your problem. You have a hot wire grounding out somewhere. The current from that is over-heating the small ground wire. Usually these problems are caused by improper stereo installation.

That is exactly what I was thinking :nice: . I think that looks very tasteful. I cant see having any problem with it scraping (unless I can stand it up that far). How did you fab the brackets to drop them down lower ??

    Stupid freakin mustang!!!

Definitely needs rebuild. Had the same exact problem with another car. I once bought a car from a guy who told me the engine was "rebuilt". It must have been low-budget because it consisted of a couple new gaskets and paint. :bang:

    Help me fix my heater....

Let the car warm right up and check to make sure the lines going from the engine to the heater core are nice and warm. If so, that means it is something inside the car because there is coolant circulating through the core. If not, then it is something under the hood. Make sure the coolant is...

    Intake gasket question

OK I give up, why do aftermarket intake manufacturers recommend the use of Fel-Pro #1250 intake gaskets ?? Why cant I just use the regular Fel-Pro gasket that the parts stores carry ??? The intake is a proffesional products typhoon. The car is a '92 GT. I think I remember the...

The upper and lower front hoses are the same, and the one that connects the water pump to the thermostat housing. The carbed mustangs had long hoses to connect the heater core to the engine while the EFI ones had two metal tubes that run to the back with two small hoses to connect it to the...
