Has anyone ever changed these ?? I bought an upper and lower control arm set and they didnt come with the bushings for the axle housing. How do you change them ?? Do you whack the old ones out with a hammer ?? They look rusted in there pretty good. Do the new ones need to be pressed in ?? I dont see the point of getting new control arms with nice urethane bushings and leaving the crappy rubber bushings in the rear end.

Besides that puller to get the old ones out, put the new ones in a cold freezer for a couple hours, then clean the inside of the loops with medium or fine sandpaper, lube them with a little WD or whatever, and the new ones tap into place rather easily with a normal sized hammer.

I used a drill and ground all old bushing out and then the rest fell out. Then I put in some lube, and pushed it in just like I would shoving anything large into a smaller tight hole. ;) I used the poly bushings, mine were split in serveral spots.

You use KY on that too. :D Sounds like a plan, I have some drills laying around. My dumb buddy says pull the rear out of the car and knock them out with a BFH. I am not about to do that, but mine are coming out too very shortly. Did you drill it with the rear in the car?
