I am trying to change the O-rings on my injectors so I can swap them into a new intake. I cant seem to change the bottom ones without getting the lower caps off. I already broke one :damnit: Is there a trick to changing the lower O-rings ?? Also, where can I get a replacement cap ?? The parts store doesnt seem to have them. I hope I didnt ruin a perfectly good injector. :bang:

Umm you should be able to buy them at your partstore. I had to do a couple on mine and they come with a sort of rebuild kit....comes with the cap and both o rings.....might have to ask for the whole kit I dunno if they come with just the o rings. I got mine from partsource. Good Luck.

Go to pep boys and buy at least 8 packs of injector pintle cap/O ring kits. Their $2.50 each kit. Just hand them this part number and get them Borg-Warner P/N 274081. The pintle caps are a bitch to put on w/o breaking them so I highly suggest buying spares. Unfortunatly, I speak from experience. I'd buy at least 12 packs because you WILL break some. Each kit comes with all you need to rebuild 1 injector (2 O rings, 1 spacer and 1 cap)

You can get them from napa. They call them "seal kits". A word of wisdom is put the pintle caps in boiling watter for a few minutes to soften them up. This virtually iliminates all breakage.

I just got the seal kits from Napa after trying everywhere else is town. Advance auto and Autozone have never heard of them. That boiling them in water trick works slicker than *****. :nice: Only bad part was that my girlfriend came home while I was doing them and thought I was cooking dinner. :notnice:
