    Mac Dumps any good?

    I have Mac's with dumps on a couple of my cars. I love the sound but I think they would sound totally different on a 5.0 than a 4.6. To me they are quieter at idle but louder at full throttle. They also sound deeper but mellower than the flomasters if that makes any sense.

    That's a pretty good read. Have any of you AOD guys used the TransGo kit? How does it address the shifter shuffle? Do you just shift manually from 1-2 and then it still shifts 2-3 automatically but at a higher RPM, or can you control the 2-3 shift manually?

    I'm about 99% sure that 4cyl rear springs are the same as V8 springs. I wouldnt bother changing those out. The 4cyl springs are a good poor mans drag spring alternative but they can be a little goofy on the highway.

    You will need the right bellhousing. There are at least 3 that I know of. You need what is normally called the "small" 157t bellhousing (not the mustang II small bell but you probably wont find one of those anyway). Not too easy to find anymore. You can ID it by how far down the fins go...
