    I am putiing a T5 in this weekend. Went to the Ford place to pick up the speedo gear. It is much smaller than the hole it gos in. Does the cable have a shroud or casing that holds it or do I need to exchange it? Thanks!

    Thats what I am going to do. The part number CJ Pony gave me is close to the same bend as the original and looks good as well. It is about 12 inches high total and 7.5 inches back and has a 2 inch offset to the inside. I'll give it a report when it goes in. Thanks!

    I'm going with the Modern Driveline crossmember. I can play it saf for now and just get something to get buy with until I have it all together. Hurst has many different "Shift Sticks" and one should work. Good luck and thanks!

    I would like to get the K.A.R. lever that comes back and up but am using a "HumphuggerCruiser" console. Any one using that combination? How much of the T5s shifter comes up through the tunnel? (w/o the lever) OR, Suggestions on other shifter that ae easy to reach / use. I have ape arms...

    Do I need the "helper" spring on the pedal with a cable conversion? Can I take the old brake pedal out, install bushings, and put the new brake and clutch pedal in w/o taking the pedal bracket out? Thanks guys,

    Tranny, bell, clutch and driveline parts

    Take your time and look hard at the eBay items available. I have saved a bunch so far on my conversion by looking at as many vendors as possible. Decide what parts you will be OK with used and which you would rather have used. Some may only be available used. Have fun and don't rush!

    Thanks, I have bid on one and will need to wait it out. I am just starting this Ebay thing and have already made the mistake of bidding too far in advance.
