    Abused mustang

    What whould you use to try and improve the looks of a car that has sat outside for 10 years. It's paint looks dull and oxidized (as one would expect). Cant afford a paint job right now and need something I can do myself. Would buffing it out with a polish work?

    Fuel rail bolt holes on lower intake are stripped. Lower intake is still on car. Really don't want to take lower off. What would you do to fix?

    GT40 intake studs.

    Do the studs to connect the intake to the 45degree adapter come with the adapter or the intake (or the throttle body. I freaking lost one of the studs and now need to find one.

    Key for locking lug nut

    Went to Ford dealership with lug nut key and the registration for my car. Said they could order one for me IF I had the card that came with the key when I bought the car :eek: Guess I will try one of the other hammer and bang solutions to this issue.

    3514.202 are the rear springs for the 3530.140 Pro-kit . 3555.001 are the front springs.

    There is a vacuum hoste that runs along the back top side of the engine compartment that ends up running into the fender area. What/where does it go? I need to replace it because it is ready to crumble!! Thanks

    Autometer vac/boost install

    Ive got an autometer 5701 Phantom mecanical vac/boost gauge. It has a 6 foot length of nylon tubing. I want to use it to measure the vacuum on my car. Two questions: 1. What vac hose should I tap into? 2. What size T connector will I need. I believe the tubing is 1/16. Thanks

    I checked the inertia switch. It was not tripped. Could I have put the two fuel lines on backwards? I remmember them to be different sizes -- but I will need to drop the tank again to check....:eek:

    Just installed a new fuel pump and fuel filter. Now I have no fuel pressure at all. When I tuarn the key on - I hear the pump prime, but no pressure. I see no leaks and smell no gas. I tried starting about 10 times -- no luck. What should I check next.

    How to remove gas from tank

    Whats the best way to remove the gas from the gas tank in preperation for replacing the fuel pump? (driving till empty is not an option). I tried sticking a hose down the filler tube- but cant get it far enough in. Is there any other options? Thanks!!
