    Charged 5.4 fitment??

 I am not sure if that is 1" or a little less..... Has anyone ever tried this kind of swap into a new edge stang?? I've seen people put lightning motors in and everyone has cut holes in the hood for clearance. Granted the lightning blower is much taller than a Whipple or Kenne Bell.

    Charged 5.4 fitment??

Wondering if some knowledgable gear heads on here can settle an on going argument I am having with a buddy.. Can a Whippled or Kenne Belled 5.4 2v engine fit under ANY hood on a 2002 Mustang??? Now I am not talking about a 20" cowl hood or anything... But a streetable aftermarket hood...

Best brakes kit for 2002 GT??

Well i am going to paint them black anyway. So the color does not bother me much. BFR does not have them anymore. Actually only one place still has them. Everyone sells the pieces, but not an entire kit.

Best brakes kit for 2002 GT??

Actually I guess i got to excited there.... The rears come in pieces so will still cost me about a grand for all four corners to be done. Might just start with the front and to make Kilgore Trout happy i will just get some pads for the rear and add some fluid.... :nice:

Best brakes kit for 2002 GT??

Thanks OC!!! That is the cheapest i have seen for any of the Cobra/Bullitt/Mach 1 brake kits. Front and rears for under $750. Looks like that is the route i am going to take. Let's just hope they come with good instructions.......

Best brakes kit for 2002 GT??

Wow that does look really good. Fills up the center of the rim nicely. Although i can't find the Mach 1/Bullitt brake kits anywhere. Guess they might be discontinued. Have to keep searching.

Best brakes kit for 2002 GT??

Well i found a Cobra kit for all 4 corners for about $900. does not seem to bad. The only thing i don't like about it is the "Cobra" on the calipers. I don't want my car to be a faux Cobra or anything. Anyone know if they have a kit without the "Cobra" writing on the calipers or if the set...

Best brakes kit for 2002 GT??

ok well seems the cobra kit is the best way to go. The brembo, baer, and wilwoods, look sick on the car, but not sure i could fork over $3000 for brakes....

Best brakes kit for 2002 GT??

Well after 75,000 miles my brakes are finally shot. I must say i am surprised they lasted this long. So I am looking to upgrade to something better for performance and appearance. I want to change everything (rotors, calipers, pads, brake lines, etc..) on all four sides. Can i get some...

    Stroke It or Bore It??????

First, Yeah I have read about his car. Even though it would be a beast regardless if he stroked it or not. He had a hell of a tuner and what seems like an endless supply of money  I am glad to finally get my answer that a stroker is not worth the money. So I guess I'll stay with the...

Questions about FR500 wheels and tires

I completely agree. Not being able to rotate your tires cuts tread life in half. So if you are going with different sizes front and back then prepare to be purchasing tires at least once a year if it is a daily driver.

    Stroke It or Bore It??????

I think I will have to agree with a person who is putting down over 600rwhp on pump gas. You might actually know a thing or two. :nice:

    Stroke It or Bore It??????

Sounds to me like boring or stroking is a waste of time on our 4.6's. Better off just saving the money and put it into better pistons, crank, rods, heads and block. As with Micheal's car, he had a completely built engine (internals, heads, custom cams, etc..) and a great tuner. Was it really the...

    Stroke It or Bore It??????

Well I know you can't bore the 4.6 to much do to how thin they are. A combination of boring and stroking can get up to 318 cubes I believe. But if you have to identical setup 4.6 engines except that one is bored and the other is stroked, which is better? Regardless of being blown, bottled, or...
