    Building 306 , need your opinion/suggestions

here is a thumbnail for doing a bottom end. 0 Balance is always preferred. Most kits I see are 28oz imbalanced. If you keep stock throw crank you can probably stay with a 50oz FW and balancer saving some cash (check the balancer for slipage) Good head bolts or studs. ARP Good quality...

My 331 Stroker build...your input please

LS1 will get good gas mileage with better engine management and most important a 6spd with double overdrive. .50 in 6th which with a 3.42 rear and stock height tires will put your rpm's around 1600 and 65-70 mph. In my experience, about 20 years worth, keep the rpm below 2k on a V8 and the...

    Cam Question?!?

Pull 1 plug wire off for small duration. 2 for a real lope. Seriously. A big cam in a stock motor is useless (even a small cam really), less than useless its detrimental...you have no gears and no stall and no flow on the heads and not even an intake.:bang:

    Gauges & Gauge Pod

I run boost and fuel pressure. Fuel pressure is more important than boost and a wide band is more important than fuel. the AF guage that hooks into the O2 sensors is not really sufficent.

    New K-Member

Here is my review of my install on the PARacing K-member Great fit. As you can see it kept the geometry just like stock. No moving the wheels forward. Almost fell into position. Did some squaring on the member tightend it down and checked again. I used the rear lower control arm mounts as my...

03/04 Cobra Drivetrain Swap in to a '94 GT

Actually raced one at the track a year or so ago. It was a 96 Cobra. I believe. Pretty nice, but very tight and was massively expensive to do. Ran a Cobra R hood to clear the blower. Required conversion of the fuel system..so on and so on. - Matt

    Fat Rear Tires.

Nope....the only option you have is to have the stock rims widened, And then if they can only change the offset to the inside you would have to use spacers. If it was cheap and easy I would have a set myself. I too like the stock Cobra wheels. AFS makes the following in 10.5. Those are...
