My # 6 piston went. Puff of blue smoke, nasty miss and a nice little rattle.
Detonation of course...But the tune was mild. hmmmm

New motor, Dart 364 on the way.

were those KB pistons? I saw a thread not too long ago (like last week) on hardcore and they looked EXACTLY like yours even the break was the same, then several others said the same thing happend to there KB pistons and that KB even made a design change and is still having big issues with breakage like you have.
