    AC Removal on a 4.6

    So beside just getting a shortet belt, the only thing I need to do is just remove all the AC components and lines? I know that on the 5.0 motors there was talk about making sure that the water pump was still spinning the right way, is this true for the 4.6 too?

    I have a 96 GT that I would like to take the AC out. I have used it maybe twice since I bought the car and dont really need it. Anybody got any input or suggestions on this, or has anybody done this?

    I just got a pair of non-PI heads. They are getting port and polished as we speak. What kind of cams, valvetrain should I get? I want an aggressive cam, but one that will bring the best results. Any input?

    Anyone run Nitrous with 4.30 gears?

    I probably wont be spraying it a lot. The car was driven only a few times during the week and it will most likely be driven even less in the future. I dont want it to be a full drag car, but mostly a street car with some track duty.

    I have a 96 GT that I want to add some Nitrous to this winter. The motor will most likely also get an overhaul (cams, pistons, P&P, etc), my question is whether or not anyone runs Nitrous with 4.30 gears or similar gears.

    Check your Mass Airflow, I had the same type of problem and it turned out to be moisture in the MAF.

    98 Mustang GT upgrades

    i currently have a C&L plenum, bbk 75mm throttle body, flowmaster mufflers, x-pipe, mac intake, mac pulleys and a tri ax on my car. oh an gears! 4.30s. by far the best upgrade were the gears! ran a 14.7 with the tri-ax, xpipe, mufflers, throttle body, and intake.

    234hp AFTER swap, WTF!!

    2003 gt with catback, intake, 4.10s, and a few other bolt ons put down 228 rwhp. if you are willing to dig into the motor again, get the heads port and polished and get the thing tuned to make everything run properly together.

    i am at about 2700-2800 rpm at 65 with my 4.30s. i really want to get some slicks or d/r for the track only but am afraid that it will damage my rear end. but wow the 4.30s are fun!!!

    Fill me in on 95-98's if you can..

    i have a 96 gt, bought it with 54k miles on it for 6k. i love the car. not as fast as the 99+ but i have not had any problems with it either.
