    ran 13.4 with KB???

You got 4.10's and a KB at 9psi. You'll need sticky tires for sure. Have you considered dropping down to a 3.55 gear?

    Rear end squeaks like hell!!

The brand of UCA and LCA's and the subframe connectors came from Blue Oval Industries. I ordered them online from them based on the ad I saw in MM&FF. When I called Blue Oval, they said theirs are the same as BBK and Mac. When the local Mustang shop installed them he said they are not the same...

    1999 Automatic fluid?

Also remember that the Ford Mercon V is a synthetic oil. There is no performance related advantage by going to a Quaker State Mercon V or any other brand.

    Rear end squeaks like hell!!

There were no instructions with this kit. The UCAs didn't look any better than stock but the lowers didn't compare with the Steeda steel ones. I was shaking the rear of the car just 10 minutes ago and it sounds like the LCAs. In fact, someone mentioned "axle bind" and I think thats exactly...

    Rear end squeaks like hell!!

I am going to unhook the quad shocks to see if they're the culprit. I doubt it will help, but it's worth a try.

    Rear end squeaks like hell!!

I know the quote you get what you pay for, please don't remind me. The bushings are made out of Urethane (sp) and the factory bolts were too large so I used the supplied bolts with the kit (they were smaller). I'm thinking of losening the UCAs and see if it still squeaks. Any advice on...

    Rear end squeaks like hell!!

Yes, they are urthane (sp) bushings with grease fittings. I've greased them twice already. I'm thinking that the bolts when installed are too tight. The ass end shuffle is now gone which is good.

    Rear end squeaks like hell!!

I installed no-name inexpensive LCAs and UCAs along with bullit springs and sub frame connectors. The sub frames are welded and made a difference in handling. Now the rear end squeaks like hell and the quad shocks are leaking like crazy. After removing the spare tire, jack and rear seat...

Change gear ratios in a Auto

Many 6 speed cars have a good OD gear like the T56 Viper spec tranny. It has a .50 OD gear. This is great for hwy crusing. The auto in my 2000GT, a 4R70W has a .70 OD gear. With a 3.73 it revs a little high at 80mph. Is there anyway I can change the OD gear to a .50 or something similar...

    Intake Spacer...?

I installed a similar spacer along with a fully ported intake and there was definately a difference above 3500 rpm. Its a cost effective way to get Accufab, Dragon and C&L type of performance for 1/5 the price.

UCA/ LCA. Now Quad shocks leaking oil?

Are bullitt springs poor quality or are you referring to the UCA/ LCA. The guy on the phone at Blue Oval Industries said the LCA and Upper's were the same as Mac and BBK which I here a good. After I bought them, I saw the Steeda adjustables LCA and they looked 1000 times better than mine. The...

UCA/ LCA. Now Quad shocks leaking oil?

With the Bullitt springs, the rear of the car is only lowered by 1 inch maximum. That 1 inch can ruin the quad shocks? My struts and shocks are still factory stock. I was told that I will not have any problems with them.

UCA/ LCA. Now Quad shocks leaking oil?

Yes, I forgot to mention that I lowered the car. I installed the UCA, LCA, and Bullitt springs at the same time. Do you think the lowering of my car affected something back there. I have grease fittings on the UCA/ LCA but the guy who installed then said they were heavily greased. By the way...

UCA/ LCA. Now Quad shocks leaking oil?

I installed some UCA and LCA from Blue Oval Industries on my 2000GT. (By the way, there not the best quality and they sent me the wrong bolts and the stock bolts are too large to fit through the arms). Now after driving for 2 weeks, the rear end squeaks over every bump and its annoying as...

Need to replace Front Struts...Says Ford! Opinions / Options?

When I lowered my car in the garage, I believe I had to disconect the struts and shocks to install the springs since i had no spring compressor. The rear shocks are a no-brainer. Look at www.mustangworld.com for a complete article on how to change springs. It's under the how to section at...

    New Converter, Need Tuning Help

It's a good question your asking here. I've done alot of research on torque convertors before I purchased one. It seems that the locking mechanism is for 3rd and 4th gear and is done via the electronic celueniod within the tranny. Therefore this is controlled by a good tune. The advantage...

Idle drops to 400-500 when stopping.

My car did that when I dropped in a K&N filter, I unhooked the battery to reset the computer too. Then I replaced the K&N with the stock filter and the idle returned to normal.

What oil viscosity is everyone using? [If you've changed it yet, of course]

There is plenty of information on www.bobistheoilguy.com website regarding the 5w-20 weight oil. It has proven to be very good oil in a 4.6L Ford engine. This oil combined with the Ford Motorcraft oil filter appear to be the best bargain and one of the best performing oil's for the 4.6L...

why pi heads ? are there better ones?

I said porting NPI heads which are already on his car, meaning he doesn't have to buy another set of heads will out perform PI heads. Purchasing ported PI heads + you'll needs cams + a intake ain't freaking cheap.
