    Engine Swap Advice Please

    Have you seen what a 4.6 looks like cramed inside an 99+ stang. Just imagine a 460. I think you have to trim the strut towers and mabey push the firewall back a little. Not to mention you have to pull the motor to change spark plugs.

    if its sputtered before it died, it most likely is not getting enough fuel to the engine. Check your fuel filter and fuel pump.

    Well in that case. There are no wires connected to the tranny, selenoid, battery, and starter are good. COuld it be teh ignition switch?? Or could it be that black cord tath hangs off the tranny? Any suggestions welcome. Thanks guys.

    Haynes manual says for manual check the clutch interlock switch. IT doesnt say where it is located. Has anyone changed this out if there car or had one go or ever heard of it before. IT says the nuetral interlock switch is for automatic tranny's. Thanks

    my question with that is that there is no wire harness hanging underneath the car that is compatable with the nuetral saftey switch. I bought the car not running. It had the tranny inthe back seat, i rebuit it and cant find a home for the harness. All the other starting wiring looks okay. Thanks

    Lower intake manifold, oil pan, headers, bracket for power steering. Im guessing a larger MAF and injectors to match the extra displacement and power. If i were you going from a 302 to a 351 i would upgrade the heads too. Oh yeah, you need a new distributor too. Forgot about at least a 2.5...
