    ??? VERT & HATCH/COUPE MOTOR MOUNT DIFF.?????

If you are going with OEM mounts, they are now the same. The old part number for non-vert Mustangs crosses over to the part number for verts.

Black interior conversion - which paint?

I can get pics, don't have any of the interior right now. Check yellowpages.com for any local auto upholstery shops, they usually sell it. SEM Vinyl dye...make sure to get landau black. Gloss black is too....well, glossy and doesn't look right. Neither does flat. Landau black is pretty...

Black interior conversion - which paint?

SEM Vinyl Dye, landau black. It is a PERFECT match to OEM black. It can be cleaned and you can use interior protectants on it like Black Magic. Spray paint chips easier, vinyl dye works much better and lasts much longer. Clean everything you plan on dying with an alcohol, brake parts cleaner...

    GEAR???????

Honestly...and this might not be the advice you want to hear...but swapping gears is not a job for a novice. There is a lot more to it than simply unbolting a few things. I have never done gears myself, helped with a lot of swaps, but ever done them myself....and I don't plan on it. Too easy...

What excatly must be done to make a rear mounted battery NHRA cert.?

That's pretty much it, just make sure the box you buy is NHRA approved. The ONLY plastic box allowed is the Moroso box. Make sure your alt is wired through your switch also. When you go through tech, they will shut the switch off and it needs to kill the car. The only way to do that is to...

starter wiring question- calling all tech guys

The problem with wiring it that way is you are using two solenoids to trigger the starter. With the high failure rate of the stock fender solenoids, it is better to make it non-functioning and strictly using the starter mounted solenoid.

starter wiring question- calling all tech guys

The starter should have an extra male connector on it, requiring a wire. You need to run a trigger wire from your fender solenoid to the extra male pin on the starter. Disconnect the negative terminal on the battery first. Now, remove the positive battery wire from the post on the fender...

    Drag racing rules; ref windows?

Wait, huh? According to the NHRA rules, you MUST have windows made of glass or shatter proof plastic (CLEAR) in order to run. You can have a drivers side net, but you can NOT run with no glass in the other windows (rear, quarter, pass side). If the track you are running at follows NHRA rules...

    Drag racing rules; ref windows?

Glass or nets, an open space won't fly.

Pic request: Inside door with no panel.

It's hard to describe... I am thinking camera position being above the latch at the top of the door, looking straight down the top "lip" of the inner shell towards the mirror. So basically it would be a line of sight shot across the top of the door, so I can see the inner lip in relation to...

    turbo

Sorry if that sounded harsh towards you....it wasn't meant to be. Every time I see one of those kits, I can't help but think of the guy I work with and his experience....even AFTER all of us told him not to buy it in the first place. He refused to listen, thinking he was going to outsmart all...

    turbo

TT kit on eBay: Total and complete garbage. Anybody who buys one deserves to lose the extra $3000 it is going to take to make it fit....only to grenade the turbos in the first place. The first thing I noticed was the "headers"....and yes, I say "headers" because that is exactly what they are...

Pic request: Inside door with no panel.

I am looking for a picture of the inside of the door shell, up where the door panel/belt molding sits on the top lip of the inside of the door shell. My drivers side door panel will NOT sit down far enough. I have to push hard on the top of the panel to get the push pins to line up, and even...

Where does the radio actually ground?

Nope....I wasn't even aware Fox's were supposed to have hood grounds. lol What the hell, adding another ground can't hurt. My right side ground is just something I put on there because I was bored and happened to see a threaded hole in the head on that side. I figured, why not go ahead and...

    Roller Rockers noisy

What brand rockers? From what I have seen/heard, most roller rockers make noise. A friend of mine has a nice set of rockers....I forget what brand, but even after replacing the lifters and adjusting the hell out of them, they still sound like that. I know mine sound exactly how you describe...

Where does the radio actually ground?

Yea, I am pretty sure I got all of those. There a few around that same area. I'm going to try to jump the radio ground and see if that clears up reception, and I am going to recheck all the grounds I know of. I know there are a few around the washer bottle/starter solenoid, and I have two on...

Where does the radio actually ground?

The cluster ground is one of the ones near the starter solenoid? Is that what you mean by in front of the drivers side wheel well? Sorry if that sounds dumb, just looking to clarify to see if I missed a ground.
