    Valve Cover Holes - yes or no?

    To the guys who are saying they are running them open, do you just mean that you have breather caps on both sides and no pcv hook up?

    Clearance Issues

    I am debating about a cam and head swap on my current set up. I was thinking of upgrading to AFR 165's and changing the cam to a XE268H. Will I have to fly cut the pistons on this new set up or is that just something that has to be done when you step up to the 2.02 valves. thanks

    I haven't had time to take it apart yet, but just so I know is the dowel pin suppose to be flush or protruding thru the eccentric?

    I will try and make this short but I keep having an issue with my fuel pump eccentric coming lose. This happened once last year and after figuring out that the eccentric was the problem, I was blaming it on just overlooking torqueing it down after a cam swap. But know this has happened again...

    I am currently running a 3.80 rear, so that is not an issue. So back to the cam debate it sounds like it's between the 280H and the XE268H. Any other opinions out there.

    Well I looked under there again and there is no bolt to speak of. I had once heard that the bolt actually goes into a plate and you have to remove the plate to get to it. Is that true? If so some pictures would be real helpfull.
