    I got an idea!

    I bought the 93 because it has a straight body/paint and black interior its the serious car, the 89gt is beat up pretty bad i just bought it for the drivetrain.

    Alright my 93 was a 2.3 auto and i bought it to be my fun drag car, the 2.3 is out and im buying an 89gt for a donor to the 93 so ill have an 89gt rolling chassis and the 2.3 motor laying around. My idea is have some fun and turbo the 2.3 and drop it in the 89 w/ a 5spd. What im asking you guys...

    Wiring question?

    i wasnt thinking, the computer is in the car on the pass side where those wires ran to. I guess when i get the new stuff it will explain itself when i lat it all out. Thanks for the offer but im just gonna get a 93harness/computer from a friend.

    How much of the 4cyl wiring harness can i keep that will work w/ the V8 wiring harness. What i mean is theres a bunch that go thru the firewall on the pass side into the cab and if i can leave it all attached and that it will plug into the new harness and computer it would save a ton of work...

    The motor and trans is out so now its time to install the manual rack and 90/10 drag struts i have. Anyone have any tips for doing this at one time?

    Im doing the same swap except a 89gt for a donor car into a 93lx so i have to get a 93 harness/computer. Pulled the trans and motor together yesterday so its time for me to start the wiring so any info is helpful here too :nice:

    I thought w/long tubes you lose a lil low end but get the horsepower in the upper rpm's.

    What upper/lower control arms do you like?

    I have a chance to get a set of southside upper/lowers for $130 but the only car ive seen launch w/ them looked really funny. The rear rose as much as the front did. I like the HPM stuff but the price tag is too high for me right now. What do you have or seen that you really like?

    Struts for coilovers the same as usual?

    I want to get a set of lakewood 90/10 struts for the front of my car but i have the stock kmember and stuff in there now, will they work when i get a tubular setup and coilovers to or will i have to buy again?

    fiberglass hatch,can you use lift supports?

    if you spend the cash to lose the weight why negate that by keeping the decently heavy struts? I guess it may not look the best but id rig something up that looks decent and is light.

    Manual rack conversion

    Who all has done this and what do you think about it? My cars gonna be mostly drag car and i want to drop the weight. Anyone have a parts list or install guide besides the flaming river deal which is too much. Also is the steering much tougher if i switch to skinnys at the same time?
