Disconnecting fuel lines need help.

I bought a set of disconnects the other day and now im wondering how to use them. From what i can see it just looks like i need to pull out 2 clips one on each line so how do i keep the line from leaking gas everywhere once it is disconnected. Id like to know before hand so i dont run into and suprises. Thisis the last step before the 4cyl comes out for good. I asked in 2.3 tech w/ no response.

The fuel line disconnects are a pain in the butt. Did you buy the little cheap plastic white ones or the ones that clamp on both sides of the fitting?

The lines will only drip gas for a short while. Once the pressure bleeds off the lines, they will quit dripping. A rag will soak up the small amount of gas that leaks out.
