    I to have a new motor like a few others on the board that likes to run around 230. it has never boiled over with just a 13lbs cap? However on the highway it hits 230 and creeps a little. As soon as I come to a stop hit the breaks the temp needle will drop to 190 maybe 200. I know this is not...

    How long does a new engine run a little warmer?

    Thanks this one only has break in time and maybe 20 miles before todays 15 mile jaunt to work down the freeway in 90+ degree temps. I was just wondering how long it might jump up to that temp. D says I have a ways to go lol :nice: thanks D

    Just took my 67 out for her first highway run and she got a little warm about 225 or so the electric fan was working and when I slowed down to come into work ( about 2 miles of 1000 to 1500 rpm driving) she cooled back down to 190. I know a new motor can run a little warmer just wondered how long.

    Yes they are got them at local dealer and they are no spacers. Rears are 17/9 with 275-40 tires and fronts are 17/7 with 215-55 tires. Had to roll my fender wheel on the rear a little but I have after market quarters and a 9 inch so not really true factory measurements. Run about 280 a wheel

    Head light switch

    How do you remove it. My head lights are not working after getting the car back on the road just figured out they where not working last night figured I would start at the switch. I did put a new turn signal switch and harness in and they are working fine.

    The are Chrome but Still getting car together will try and get a pic up this weekend. I have some but they are not real good and the stance is horrible. It is getting better as I get more weight on the front. Going to see how it looks with the hood on and go from there on the cut.

    Dude that is the stance I need. I did the Foose Nitrous II and have 620 uncut with 1 inch drop on the front and have a stock style gap. What is your setup and do you get any rub on the front? Seems like at full turn you would hit the inner fender lip? Nice ride!!!!
